Heard this beautiful testimony in a prayer service I follow online and I thought I’ll share:

A pastors brother had some sort of an accident and went into coma. Doctors gave him very slim chances of survival. But the man’s wife kept pressing on in prayer day and night, for 9 weeks. She refused to hear the doctors. She refused to quit praying. She prayed and prayed until he came out of the coma. He is now out of the woods and well on his way to recovery.

After his brother was out of Coma, this was what he told his Pastor, (brother.) For all the 9 weeks that he was in Coma, he kept hearing evil voices speak to him words of Hopelessness. “God does not love you. You are going to die. You are no use to anybody. It’s better to die than to live.”

Over and over, he said he kept hearing these words! And finally after 9 weeks of his wife battling in prayer, there was a breakthrough. He was out of the unconscious state, to tell the world, how real the spiritual realm really is!!

A couple of years ago, my friend and I decided to pray early morning at 4:00 am everyday during the Lenten season. 99 percent of the time it would be Akka who would call me at 4:00 am for prayer. I would scramble for my phone in the wee hours of the morning and get on my knees with eyes half closed, waiting to return to bed! 😴

One night just as I was putting my little one to bed, I kinda closed my eyes for just one brief moment. I don’t think I realized it at first that I was seeing a vision.

I saw small kitchen knives on the floor scattered but the interesting thing was that the handle part of the knives were missing. When I saw those knives, I kinda felt like they were the word of God (which is sharper than a two edged sword 🗡️) but that we were not ‘using’ them for it’s intended purpose.

The next day when akka called, I shared with her this vision that I saw and told her that we need to claim God’s promises as we prayed.

You will not believe what she said. Just the previous night, Akka, who had kept all the promise verses tucked in her Bible, pulled them out one by one and threw it near the trash bin. It was actually not inside the bin, but on the floor. She took a picture on her phone and sent it.

We both were amazed at God’s amazing leading for us to continue to pray the promises over our families and our children without giving up Hope. He is a prayer answering God and though sometimes his answers may tarry, it will surely come to pass, if we don’t give up Hope!

Satan fights hard to cause us to give up Hope EVERY single day. But our God… is constantly speaking Hope into our Hopeless situations!

Don’t quit YOUR race! Fight your good fight of Faith!
