Who has NOT come face-to-face with Fear? I’m sure, its Nobody! Every one of us face ‘Fears’ several times in our lives. If we search the scriptures, we see over and over again that Jesus gave ‘Peace’ to his disciples. Ever wondered Why?

The reason is because, the weapon that defeats “Fear” is the “Peace of God”.

In the story of Gideon, he had to face a mighty huge army that was spread across the land like the sands of the sea. Before God told him to go and face them, he revealed Himself to Gideon as “Jehovah Shalom”, meaning “The LORD is Peace”.

Now that Gideon has the “Peace of God” within him, he’s ready to face the battle in front of Him!

“…in quietness and in trust shall be your strength.” Isaiah 30:15
