As each year comes to a close it sends me quivers coz’ we are one more year closer to the coming of the Lord. I don’t know if you have ever thought about the coming of the Lord in serious terms!!! But the things that are going on around the globe sends strong signals to the beloved of the Lord, to ‘prepare’ themselves for the coming of their groom. Bride… it’s Time we got ready!!! These are not days we could afford to live in complacency or procrastination!!! Time is near, I believe!!!

Mid 2014, in the month of July an e-mail was circulated to the partners of Ravi Zac ministries. It was an e-mail that Mrs Anne Graham Lotz(Billy Grahams daughter) sent to Dr Ravi Zacharias and here is a little excerpt from it:

Dear Ravi,
As you may know, my husband is in declining health. I am no longer traveling and speaking as much as I have for the last 26 years since I am staying home to care for him. As a result, I have had time to be quiet and listen more to the whispers of the Spirit. He has revealed things to me in the stillness that I’m not sure I would have heard in my former busyness.

One of the things He has impressed on me is that we are living at the end of human history as we know it. In light of this, He has given me some practical assignments. One was to be the Honorary Chair for the National Day of Prayer 2014 this past May. He gave me the message I was to deliver, which was from Joel 1…the Day of the Lord is at hand. It was a message warning that judgment is coming.

God seems to be sending His voice to the ends of the Earth to wake up His church from their state of slumber and to be prepared for His second coming, for which the church has been waiting for several centuries!!! It won’t be too long before ISIS conquers the world and our faith may have to go through fiery furnaces as well!!!

The Stage is fast being set around the globe!!! Every country has a leader who has an anti-judeo-christian worldview, though they have not made their claims public, obviously due to political reasons!!! IT is just a matter of time. O’ Christian…. these are the days to PRAY!!!! Much much more than ever before!!!! Gather your extra oil while there is still time!!!
