History says that the total number of Israelites who fled Egypt were around 2.5 million, compared to an estimated Egyptian population of 3 to 4.5 million. Quite evidently, the Egyptians were 1. More in number 2. And they were one of the most powerful nations that existed during that time. There was no way that the Israelites could “fight” the Egyptians. There were “Zero” chances for the Israelites to get out of the land of bondage. The Israelites knew that. And the Egyptians knew that.…. But there was something that the Egyptians did not know….!!!!
“Do not be afraid. Stand firm and you will see the deliverance the LORD will bring you today. The Egyptians you see today you will never see again.” Exodus 14:13
Yes. The Egyptians did not know that the Mighty GOD was fighting on behalf of the Israelites. The God who fought for the Israelites that day, is the same God who is fighting your battles and mine. “The Battle belongs to the LORD” 1 Samuel 17:47. Jus’ Be Still and know that He is God.
Blessed Lenten Season to all. Victory is ours through the Cross.
HAVE A FANTABULOUS MONTH AHEAD!!!
Reminded me of Gideon & his army of 300 to 128,000 (I am not sure of the no.), but almost 1:450 some midianites. The fact is Gideon the same flesh & blood like me with doubts & fears Totally trusted & obeyed what The Lord wanted him to do. It is good to read ur post from the Old Testament & it’s practical application.
True, true akka!!! One man with God is better off than an army of people without Him!!!
