Summer is my favorite!!!

Winter is almost gone. And the season of Spring is at its dawn. As we were driving to a friends place, I saw the trees and the tiny green leaves that were beginning to show up. I was gazing at the beauty of creation. The four seasons: fall, winter, spring and summer. Summer is my favorite season of all! There’s a lot of bright colours, people walking on the road, lots of life happening in the busy areas, and in general the season itself!!! I can take Jaden outside for a walk, or take him to the play area, and most of all, I don’t have to have a winter jacket on!!! 😀 I can’t wait for summer, just thinking of it!!!

But if you think a little deeply, what makes summer special, is that there is something called winter. After nearly four months of sitting at home, gazing at the bare trees, and hardly a person outside the window, not a bird on the trees to chirp – when winter bids goodbye and gives way to Spring, there is a sense of galatta and fun that is stirred up within you!!! In short, winter makes summer special.

When I look back at the days of my youth, I have made some wrong decisions and choices in my life for which I have shed many a tears. But you know what? I am in a strange sense thankful for that season of my life, because without that season in my life, I would not be who I am today. It was there that I learnt many things. Sometimes when God permits difficulties in our life, I strongly believe, that there is a bigger glory awaiting in the near future.

“…….weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning.” Psalm 30:5

“You turned my wailing into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and clothed me with joy, that my heart may sing your praises and not be silent. LORD my God, I will praise you forever.” Psalm 30:11-12

Trust God to turn your wailing into dancing….. in His time. Because, “He has made everything beautiful in its time.” Ecclesiastes 3:11.

Have a fabulous month ahead!!!!
