Many years ago, I’m pretty sure at least 15-20 years ago, I just fell in love with a particular scripture. The reason it’s amusing to me is because I had zero understanding of what it meant. Here it is:

“For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as waters cover the sea..” Habakkuk 2:14

I just deeply loved the “waters cover the sea” part I think, simply because I LOVED the OCEANS. 🙂 Their beauty is breathtaking to say the least. That’s the reason that scripture stole my heart when I was really young, I’m guessing, coz truth be told I didn’t know what exactly it meant. 

Last week one early morning when I got down on my knees to pray, out of the blue I was reminded of this scripture. “For the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the LORD”. I think now I have a little bit more insight into that scripture…. coz’ I believe we are living in a time of its fulfillment. 

Last week I was talking to an Akka in our Tamil church. She shared something that totally delighted me!!! Praise God!! He is on the move, I thought to myself!!!

She shared about her daughter who is in college. The young girl was apparently disturbed due to certain things she heard in a video. Instead of forgetting about what she heard and moving on with her day to day schedules, she stopped and decided to seek God on this matter. When she sought God, God showed up to her through his WORD. 

I was rejoicing within myself because day in and day out we hear nothing on the news except what the enemy is doing in our schools and campuses. I do understand that the media wants to keep us informed of the terrible turn that’s happening across the nations!!! That’s okay!! But when we hear all day about the advancement of the enemy’s plans, it makes us frustrated thinking WHY… God is silent??!!!

Quite apparently I was wrong… so wrong!! He is moving… one heart at a time…. one campus at a time…. But GOD IS ON THE MOVE!!! He is reaching out to our young people!!! He is raising up a generation that’s going to be in LOVE WITH GOD and his RIGHTEOUSNESS!!!

It has begun!! It has begun!! The earth is going to be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord!! When the enemy does all that he can to enslave humankind, our God is silently snapping chains!!! No one can bring into bondage what JESUS has set free!!

“So if the Son sets free, you will be free indeed.” John 8:36
