“God is light and in Him there is no darkness at all.” 1 John 1:5

The more you read the gospels, the brighter the personality of Christ, shines!! The gospels were written by 4 different disciples of Christ. But all four of them agree together as one, in bringing out the beauty of our Lord Jesus!!!

I didn’t have much time to read the Word this morning, maybe just 10-15 minutes. I read the gospel of Luke. Now, half the day is gone, but the brightness of His character which I perceived in those 10-15 minutes, still lingers within me!! Such is His beauty!! Flawless personality!!!

There is none like our Lord! No not One!! Exalt His Holy Name!!

Satan however seeks dark places and works only in darkness.

“Do not participate in the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but instead even expose them;” Eph 5:11

Some pointers to keep in mind for a family:

1. Never keep secrets between you and your spouse. He is your God-given partner with whom you can share your burdens with. As long as we keep our struggles in the dark, the enemy is going to mess around with our minds, big time!!!

2. Encourage children to talk to you. As they get older, they usually get into a tendency to get secretive… but make sure you talk to them and find out what’s going on in school with friends. The more secretive they are, it is a comfortable playground for the enemy to kick our kids around and we certainly don’t want that!

3. Take time to pray as a family for the challenges we may face at work-place, school or anywhere else! The family unit must be a strong confidence for every individual in the family!!

When we continually bring things to the feet of Jesus, who is the LIGHT of the World, the more powerless the enemy becomes in those areas, coz’ Satan flees Light.

Light always wins!
