We live in times where we are surrounded by fearful news at every turn. Although we may be people of faith, getting bombarded by such news, day in and day out, tends to shake our faith. In such times, words of men provide very little comfort. We need an anchor to steady our rocking soul that is troubled within us.
What an abundance of peace the Word of God gives the troubled soul? When we read that the LORD is our Shepherd who keeps his loving eyes upon his tender sheep, it calms the storm within us. Not only does the Shepherd watch over our ways but he also says that wherever we go we will be a blessing in that place.
“Blessed will you be when you come in and blessed will you be when you go out.” Deut 28:6
We don’t have to be overwhelmed by the fear that the enemy plants within us. But we can rise up in faith and be confident in the One who never slumbers nor sleeps while keeping watch over his sheep!
“I will place him in the safety for which he longs.” Psalm 12:5
The Earth which he put in space millions of years ago, has not slipped or fallen out of his hands. How could YOU for whom he shed his blood, fall out of his hands?

Blessed day!
