I was reading the last few chapters in the book of Matthew. The conversation that goes on between Judas and the chief priests is gripping, to say the least. Here are some of the statements made by Judas:

“What are you willing to give me if I deliver him over to you?” So they counted out for him thirty pieces of silver.” Matthew 26:15

“The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.”

Satan showed Judas a moments pleasure of money, and had him lose his soul which is of much greater worth. Not billions, not trillions can match the worth of a single soul!!

Queen Elizabeth’s last words as she knew she was stepping into eternity said: “All my life’s possessions for a “moment of time”. Because YOUR SOUL was priceless to Jesus, he shed his blood to redeem your soul and mine.

Now, we belong to our Savior, who went through a gruesome death, so that you and I can have heavenly glory!!
